Harry Diamond was a chronicler of Soho and The Colony Room Club and its regulars including Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon. His work doesn’t frequently come on the market but his photographs of Francis Bacon are some of the most striking images of the artist and command strong sums at auction. This piece dates to 1980’s and was part of the Arthur Anderson & Co Art Collection.
